Overview

Team management lets you control who has access to your Avaliar organization and what they can do. Every organization has at least one admin, and you can invite additional members with either the Admin or Member role. Manage your team at app.avaliar.ai/settings/team.

Roles

Avaliar uses two roles to control access within an organization.
RoleDescription
AdminFull access to all features. Can manage team members, API keys, alerts, billing, and organization settings.
MemberRead access to traces, analytics, and benchmarks. Cannot manage team members, API keys, or billing.

Inviting Members

1

Open Team Settings

2

Enter Email and Role

Enter the email address of the person you want to invite and select their role (Admin or Member).
3

Send Invitation

Click Send Invite. The invitee receives an email with a link to join your organization.
Invitations are valid until accepted or cancelled. The invitee does not need an existing Avaliar account — they will be prompted to create one when they accept the invitation.

Pending Invitations

View all outstanding invitations in the Pending Invitations section of the team settings page. From here you can:
  • See the email address and role for each pending invitation
  • See when the invitation was sent
  • Cancel an invitation that is no longer needed

Changing Roles

Admins can change the role of any team member:
  • Promote a Member to Admin to give them full access
  • Demote an Admin to Member to restrict their permissions
Role changes take effect immediately.
At least one admin must exist in every organization. You cannot demote the last remaining admin.

Removing Members

Admins can remove team members from the organization. Removing a member:
  • Revokes their access to the organization immediately
  • Does not delete their Avaliar account
  • Does not affect traces or data they previously created
